Die aus Japan stammende Tänzerin Kotono Choda erhielt ihre Tanzausbildung an der European School of Ballet in Amsterdam und anschließend besuchte sie die Ballettschule für das Opernhaus Zürich. Von 2022 bis Juli 2023 war sie Praktikantin am Pilsner Ballet DJKT in Tschechien, wo sie bei zahlreichen Produktionen mitwirkte, u. a. „Dornröschen“, „Don Quixote“ und „Schwanensee“. Seit August 2023 tritt sie als Gast mit der Compagnie des Aalto Ballett Essen auf.
Kotono Choda was born in Japan and received her ballet training at the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam. From 2021 till April 2022 she was a member of the Ballet School of the Zurich Opera House and afterwards she was an apprentice at the DJKT Ballet in Pilsen, Czech Republic, where she danced in numerous productions, such as ”Sleeping Beauty“, ”Don Quixote“ and ”Swan Lake“. Since August 2023 she is a guest of the Aalto Ballett Essen.
